Industrial output slowed to 0.6% in October from 2.2% in the previous month, according to the second reading of data by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on December 10. Adjusted for the number of workdays, output increased by 2.7%. On a monthly basis, output climbed a calendar-adjusted 2.8%, in line with the preliminary figures. Hungary's industry remained in good shape despite the second wave of the pandemic. Unlike the retail sector, industrial production has surprised on the upside for three months in a row.
