In his address at a major business conference in Budapest HCCI President Dr. László Parrag spoke about the Chamber's new initiative to develop a labour market forecasting system. Tradeable expertise and professionalism are the key to a foreseeable future and competitive salaries, he said and added: therefore vocational training must adapt to labour demand. Dr. Parragh said, changes in the Hungarian vocational training system have proved successful and officials from several countries from the region expressed their intention to take over elements of the system. Manual labour can regain its reputation, said Dr. Parragh, if high standard vocational training institutions prepare their pupils well for future challenges.
