Retail sales of Hungarian webshops rose 8.5% to HUF 1.474 trillion in 2023, research by consultancy GKID and Mastercard show, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The number of orders placed with Hungarian webshops rose 7pc to 83m. Including orders from foreign webshops, orders by Hungarian consumers climbed 32% to 102 million as Chinese e-platforms, such as Temu, gained ground, the research shows.
