Home rental rates in Hungary rose 12.6% year-on-year in January, data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.
Rental rates in the capital increased by 11.7%. The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged HUF 235,000 in the second half of last year. A home in a large city in the west of the country could be rented for HUF 170,000/month.
