Financing for cross-border cooperation between Romania and Hungary will amount to HUF 70 billion (EUR 182.4 million) in the period up to 2027, according to an announcement on Thursday. Interreg projects implemented through the European Regional Development Fund with European Union and government funding by the two states are aimed at creating a greener and more cohesive cross-border region, the government office of Hajdú-Bihar County said on its website.
