Finance Minister Mihály Varga has held talks with László Parragh, the head of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK), his ministry said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
"Even in wartime, the government plans to ease and reduce further the tax burden for SMEs next year," Varga said after the meeting.
The sides agreed that easing businesses' burdens further contributes to improving the standard of living for employees and families, as well as boosting competitiveness, the ministry said.
